MEN IN THE LOCKER ROOM

“David left Gath and escaped to the cave of Adullam. When his brothers and his father’s household heard about it, they went down to him there.”  ~ 1 Samuel 22:1

Cave – means an opening in a hillside. Hebrew terms (mearah and hor) means hole.

Caves were abundant in the region, and they were frequently massive is size.

Adullam – old city lowlands of Judah territory. It was also a royal city conquered by Joshua. It was a place of refuge, a stronghold, and fortified.

I. The quandary of the system

One’s best success comes after their greatest disappointments.
