Men Carrying The Cross of Christ

“Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves
and take up their cross daily and follow me.” ~ Luke 9:23

• Jesus carried the cross 650 yards. A Roman cross weighed 300 pounds. Jesus
carried the crossbar, his flesh was raw, his pain was real, temporary prison of lies all
false.

• Jesus carried every offense that was ever committed; placed on his shoulders, and
He carried it all the way to Calvary. Consider He carried our past, our present and
our future.

• No guilt for 2021 no shame in 2021 from COVID 19 or anything.

A. Men must face the work of the cross.

(Jesus worked ministry, he worked kingdom agenda, ministry of love)

Love is hard work love is unconditional love is not based on performance.

B. Men must have faith in the words of the cross.

(The cross speaks of suffering, a sacred Hope, a sacrifice of living faith)

C. Men must focus on authentic worship because of the cross.
