FOUR GIFTS YOU GET WHEN YOU ACCEPT CHRIST

1. The Gift of

“But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of forgiveness to many through this other man, Jesus Christ.” ~ Romans 5:15b (NLT)

2. The Gift of

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” ~ Romans 6:23 (NIV)

3. The Gift of

“God has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.” ~ Romans 5:5b (TLB)

4. The Gift of some (SPIRITUAL GIFTS)

“Each of you has been blessed with one of God’s many wonderful gifts to be used in the service of others. So use your gift well.” ~ 1 Peter 4:10 (CEV)

“I always thank my God for you and for the gracious gifts he has given you, now that you belong to Christ Jesus.” ~ 1 Corinthians 1:4 (NLT)

“Brothers and sisters, in view of all we have just shared about God’s compassion, I encourage you to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, dedicated to God and pleasing to him. This kind of worship is appropriate for you.” ~ Romans 12:1 (GW)

FOUR REASONS YOU NEED TO KNOW YOUR GIFTS

1. They shape your

“There are different spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit gives them. There are different ways of serving, and yet the same Lord is served. There are different types of work to do, but the same God produces every gift in every person.” ~ 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 (GW)

2. They show your

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” ~ Ephesians 2:10 (NLT)

3. They share your

“My Father is glorified and honored by this, when you bear much fruit, and prove yourselves to be my [true] disciples.” ~ John 15:8 (AMP)

4. They shine your

“In the same way let your light shine in front of people. Then they will see the good that you do and praise your Father in heaven.” ~ Matthew 5:16 (GW)

FOUR STEPS TO USING YOUR GIFTS

1.

“Do not neglect the spiritual gift that is in you.” ~ 1 Timothy 4:14a (GNT)

2.

“Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God.” ~ Romans 6:13b (NLT)

“Fan into flame the gift God gave you….” ~ 2 Timothy 1:6 (JB)

“So we are to use our different gifts in accordance with the grace that God has given us. If our gift is to speak God’s message, we should do it according to the faith that we have.” ~ Romans 12:6 (GNT)
