BECAUSE HAPPINESS ISN’T ENOUGH
JOY IS A CHOICE OF MY BEHAVIOR
“There’s more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we’re hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as this, we’re never left feeling shortchanged. Ways to Choose Joy Daily:
1. your life.
“Teach us to number our days and recognize how few they are; help us to spend them as we should.” Psalm 90:12 (LB)
2. Practice .
“Pray diligently. Stay alert, with your eyes wide open in gratitude.” Colossians 4:2a (MSG)
3. Rediscover .
“…. Put [your] hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.” 1 Timothy 6:17c (NIV)
4. Express freely.
“Love extravagantly.” I Corinthians 13:13 (MSG)
5. See the .
“Every day is a terrible day for a miserable person, but a cheerful heart has a continual feast.” Proverbs 15:15 (GW)

6. joyful people.
“Do not be fooled: “Bad friends will ruin good habits.”” 1 Corinthians 15:33 (NCV)
7. someone’s load.
“Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” Galatians 6:10 (NIV)

8. Live in the .

and if we miss it we miss the
reason for our existence.
