Southwest Region – Bishop David C. Cooper, Regional Bishop

• Approximately 45 churches from Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.
  • North Texas – State Bishop Kenneth Spears (16 churches)
  • South Texas – State Bishop Dr. Ethan Ogletree Sr. (15 churches)
• South Texas Pre-Summit seed offerings sent to Southwest Region totaling $3,800 from: New Destiny $1,000 (Bishop Ogletree), Changing A Generation-Missouri City $1,000 (Bishop Shields), Abundant Life $400 (Bishop Garrett), New Light $200 (Bishop Jasper), St. James $200 (Overseer Ross), Victory Worship Center $200 (Overseer Monterio), Victory Community Center $200 (Pastor Petteway), Immanuel Worship Center $200 (Pastor Washington), Bethel FGBC $200 (Pastor Grear), Household of Prayer $200 (Pastor Smith).
• 17 Rooms reserved at the Fairfield Inns & Suites [block 40 rooms reserved]
• Expected attendance ~ 150 people per night; may include some Bishops from the Bishop’s Council.
• Registration is $20 per person: Southwest Regional Summit Registration. Worship services will be streamed on SW Region FB Fan Page. Within next 2 weeks ND expects 40-60 people to register.
• Attire – Business Casual (No ties, no collars)
• Volunteers needed in all areas of ministry:
  • Clean-up & set-up – assist with building sanitization and cleaning Thursday night, Friday noon, set-up for DOP Event Friday, and building cleaning Friday night after service. Set-up for Food Giveaway and Saturday service.
  • Elders & Ministers – assist with Altar
  • Intercessory Prayer – 30 minutes before each service
  • Ministry of Worship (Music) – provide Praise & Worship on Thursday night, Friday noon & Friday night.
  • Greeters & Ushers (Worship Techs) – welcome guests, give directions and assist as needed.
  • Security – men needed for parking lot and building security; police officer will be on property.
  • Transportation – coordinate pick-up from Summit Hotel to ND along with help in parking lot.
  • Volunteers – distribute box meals after Thursday & Friday night services from Jason’s Deli and Chick-Fil-A; assist vendors, and as needed.
    • Regular ND Food Giveaway on Saturday 4/23/22; expect 100-200 cars (sometimes 2 families represented in a car). Meat, canned goods, vegetables and water will be distributed, additional meat may be given out. SWR Evangelism team may assist with volunteering. Expect to get more information.
