2. You come into fellowship, agreement, with something you heard and felt but have not seen.
3. You usually cannot see how you will get there from here.

“God, who got you started in this spiritual adventure, shares with us the life of his Son and our Master Jesus.” 1 Corinthians 1:9 (MSG)

“9 God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” (1 Corinthians 1:9 NIV) Extra Interpretation

1. Omnipotent Potentate with supreme authority, oppressive dictatorship, and highly exalted one in the Kingdom of me. “I am in control.” The world revolves around my comfort, my pleasure and my convenience. My greatest and deepest love is reserved for me.

“Another said, ‘Yes, Lord, I will follow you, but let me first say goodbye to my family.’ Jesus told him, ‘Anyone who puts a hand to the plow then looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God.’” Luke 9:61-62 (NLT)

3. HOW DO I SAY “YES!” TO GOD?

“Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God.” (Romans 6:13 NLT)

“Joshua said to the people, ‘You are your own witnesses to the fact that you have chosen to serve the Lord.’ ‘YES!’ they said. ‘Then get rid of those foreign gods that you have,’ he demanded, ‘and pledge your love to the Lord.’” Joshua 24:22-23 (TEV)
