Acts 1:8-9 “’But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.’ 9 After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight” (Acts 1:9).

To be witnesses in Jerusalem… means be a witness locally.

To be witnesses in all Judea and Samaria… means be a witness regionally.

To be witnesses to the ends of the earth…means be a witness to the rest of the world

Key Point: Being a witness for Jesus will make an eternal difference.

Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Matthew 19:26 “…with God all things are possible.” 

Matthew 23:39 “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

2 Corinthians 5:14-15 “For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.”

1 Timothy 2:3-6 “This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all people”.
