The Upside Down Kingdom Week 1: Upside Down Blessings

Blessed are the poor in spirit – Happy are those that are humble in spirit, they will be receptive to a new spiritual kingdom and the kingdom will be theirs.
 
Blessed are those who mourn – Happy are those who groan under the burden of sin and guilt, they mourn the fallenness of the kingdom of earth, and they will be comforted in God’s Kingdom.
 
Blessed are the meek – Happy are those that aren’t fighting for position in the kingdom of earth and renounce all rights to it, but are enduring for the inheritance of God’s Kingdom.
 
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness – Happy are those that desire to live a right life in the eyes of God, they will be filled with purpose in God’s Kingdom.
 
Blessed are the merciful – Happy are those that act with forgiveness and mercy towards others, they will receive in God’s Kingdom what they gave on the kingdom of earth.
 
Blessed are the pure in heart – Happy are those that have a single-minded commitment for God’s kingdom, they will see God.
 
Blessed are the peacemakers – Happy are those that intentionally bring the peace of God from His kingdom to the kingdom of earth, they look like God Himself.
 
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness – Happy are those that experience the harshness of the kingdom of earth because of their work in the Kingdom of God, they will find rest when they inherit the Kingdom of God.
