Series: It’s The Principles For Me!
Week 12: It’s The Words For Me!
Proverbs 16:21 AMPC
The wise in heart are called prudent, understanding, and knowing, and winsome speech increases learning [in both speaker and listener].
Proverbs 16:23-24 TPT
23 Winsome words pour from a heart of wisdom,
adding value to all you teach.
24 Nothing is more appealing
than speaking beautiful, life-giving words.
For they release sweetness to our souls
and inner healing to our spirits.
Today our words have either locked us up or set us free.
Words can limit your life
Words can limit your life because the more you say things that do not line up with the word of God, the more you push yourself from having the life God has for you.
The reason Jesus was able to speak life is because he was not only life but he connected with life.
Be careful with your words. Once they are said, they can be only forgiven, not forgotten.

A Wise Heart Teaches You 3 Things
–
What you say about other reveals what is in in your heart!
What you say about others reveals what you think about yourself!
What you say about others reveals what you think about all day!
Matthew 12:34-35 AMPC
34 You offspring of vipers! How can you speak good things when you are evil (wicked)? For out of the fullness (the overflow, the [p]superabundance) of the heart the mouth speaks.
35 The good man from his inner good treasure [q]flings forth good things, and the evil man out of his inner evil storehouse [r]flings forth evil things.
Proverbs 18:7-9 TPT
7 A fool has a big mouth that only gets him into trouble,
and he’ll pay the price for what he says.
8 The words of a gossip merely reveal the wounds of his own soul,[d]
and his slander penetrates into the innermost being.
Proverbs 18:20-21 TPT
20 Sharing words of wisdom is satisfying to your inner being.
It encourages you to know
that you’ve changed someone else’s life.[k]
21 Your words are so powerful
that they will kill or give life,
and the talkative person will reap the consequences.
