Just Do It!

God is working in you to live a life that is pleasing to Him!

13 for God is the One who is constantly putting forth His energy in you, both in the form of your being desirous of and of your doing His good pleasure.

Two Areas used by satan to hinder you.

1. Un-renewed Mind

Deception comes when we are unaware of the truth and do not practice the truth.

22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

2. The Flesh

These are two areas of our lives that the enemy, your enemy, the devil wants to try and control your life…the un-renewed carnal mind and the flesh.

If he can keep you living a life controlled by these two arenas then he can steal from you the extraordinary life that God has called you to live.

• The way to overcome these two hindrances is to
  • Renew our mind to the truth of the word of God through revelation that comes from the Holy Spirit.
  • Live a life controlled by the Spirit of God.

• This is a choice…you must be intentional. But you must move from intending to do it…to…actually doing it.
• If I have the mindset of Christ, then I know…
  • I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
  • I can receive and walk in God’s exceedingly, abundantly beyond
  • I have all my needs met according to His riches in glory
  • I have the Spirit of wisdom and I have God’s wisdom for all things
  • I am empowered by the Holy Spirit to complete my calling
  • I have all authority through the Name of Jesus to overcome every obstacle and speak to every mountain
  • I have a new nature and I am free from the power and control of sin
  • I have access to the throne room of Heaven to receive Grace
  • I am filled and strengthened with the Joy of the Lord
  • I am fully and completely loved by God and receive my value from Him and Him alone

As Believers, Christians (Those who have confessed Jesus as Lord and Savior and have received the gift of Salvation) we have the capacity and calling/assignment to live extraordinary lives because of who we are now in Christ. But many times we can continue in our old ways and life (life lived through wrong thinking and dictated by the desires of the flesh). That is not who you are now nor who God has called you to be.
