Scriptural References: Psalm 119:160; Isaiah 1:18, 55:8-9; Matt 5:7, 22:39; Acts 17:11; Rom 3:23-24, 15:4; 1 Cor 4:6; Acts 2:37-38, 22:8-16; 1 Pet 3:8
Justification comes by Faith:
Rom 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.
Rom 5:1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Gal 2:16 knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
Gal 3:11 But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “The just shall live by faith.”
Gal 3:24 Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
Justification is by the gift of God’s Grace:
Rom 5:17-18 For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.) 18 Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.
Tit 3:7 that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
Justification is also by/through Christ Jesus:
Rom 3:24-25 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,
Rom 5:9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
Rom 4:25 who [Jesus] was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification.
Justification will be by the words we speak and by humbling ourselves:
Mat 12:37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”
Luk 18:14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”
Works IS a condition of Justification:
Jas 2:21-26 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. 25 Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way? 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
Act 13:39 and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.
