What Does God Say?

Like a city whose walls are broken down is a person who lacks self-control.  Proverbs 25:28 (NIV)

When the Holy Spirit controls our lives, he will produce… self-control.  Galatians 5:22 (NLT)

Sacrifice: Giving up something you , for something you love .

3. Embrace the value of .

On every Lord’s day each of you should put aside something from what you have earned during the week, and use it for this offering. The amount depends on how much the Lord has helped you earn.  1 Corinthians 16:2 (TLB)

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates [windows] of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”  Malachi 3:10 (NIV)
