One of the most common questions I receive as a pastor is, “Why does God allow evil and suffering if He is such a Good God?” Many ask, “Why does God allow sin and evil to run rampant and do nothing about it? Why does God allow evil people to prosper and succeed? Why does God ….. ?
These questions have been asked by millions if not billions throughout human history. Often times people are hurting, suffering and crying out for God to intervene and wonder why He has not done so yet!
Many believe Satan’s lie that tells them that God doesn’t love them much less care about them or listen to their cries for help.
The truth is that one day, and I believe very soon – God is going to put a stop to it once and for all! God IS going to intervene on our behalf and deliver His people from all suffering and pain.
In our text today, we are right in the middle of the Great Tribulation period. Remember, the Church has been removed and have been caught up to be with the Lord during this 7 year period during the Great Tribulation! The Bible says that the God’s people are NOT appointed unto His wrath. The Great Tribulation is the time where God will pour His Wrath upon the earth!
