The Great Return

John 7:32–36 (ESV)

32 The Pharisees heard the crowd muttering these things about him, and the chief priests and Pharisees sent officers to arrest him. 33 Jesus then said, “I will be with you a little longer, and then I am going to him who sent me. 34 You will seek me and you will not find me. Where I am you cannot come.” 35 The Jews said to one another, “Where does this man intend to go that we will not find him? Does he intend to go to the Dispersion among the Greeks and teach the Greeks? 36 What does he mean by saying, ‘You will seek me and you will not find me,’ and, ‘Where I am you cannot come’?”

BIG IDEA: the Lord Jesus while He may be .

The implication being, that he will not always be found.

1. Nothing will the Son’s (32-33)

John 7:32-33.

Job 42:2 2 “I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted.

2. There will be a when He will no longer be (34, 35)

• Without the Slightest Hope of (Matthew 25:46, Hebrews 6:2)

Being Born Again

Pastor Anton shared a simple way to pray a prayer of faith using sorry, please, thank-you.  If you are ready to give your life to Christ, here is a way you could pray:

Lord Jesus Christ, I am sorry for the things I have done wrong in my life (take a few moments to ask his forgiveness for anything particular that is on your conscience). Please forgive me. I now turn from everything that I know is wrong. Thank you that you died on the cross for me so that I could be forgiven and set free. Thank you that you offer me forgiveness and the gift of your Spirit. I now receive that gift. Please come into my life by your Holy Spirit to be with me forever. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen.
