Q1. How do you see God defending the widows and orphans around the world?

Q2.  How does our culture influence the way we serve the widows and orphans in the United States and around the world? 

Q3. Robert Lupton writes in Toxic Charity: How Churches and Charities Hurt Those They Help (2011) that sometimes Charities hurt those they help.  How can the American Church/organizations ensure that charity going to poor countries does not become toxic?

Q4. What assumptions do I/we have as Christians regarding the poor, and the widows and are my/our assumptions founded in the bible or my/our culture?

Q5. How does one intentionally shape a culture so that it is healthy and biblical?

Q6. How do the institutions set by mankind tend to abuse their power and not defend the rights of orphans and widows?

Q7. What does God desire of me and how can I get involved in helping widows and orphans near and far?
