SALT & LIGHT Part 2: Changing Your View Of Yourself
September 13, 2020
Jesus said, you are the preserver of the world they didn’t think much of themselves. Jesus needed to change the way they saw themselves. the world is broken. we are the ones that are assigned to affect it. if not, we become worthless (trampled) and God becomes most of us that are Christians are because we come across someone who was salty. some of us are considering Christianity because of someone in our lives who are salty you may not see the difference yet, but you are a difference because salt always makes a difference. When we start to realize that we are salt and we are making a difference (family, work, school, team, neighborhood, etc) Ask ourselves, are we aware we are making a difference because we are living a salty life.
You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.
Often when others feel like something’s missing in their lives, it’s YOU!
And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching.
We are the salt in our world!
Salt always changes what you put it into!
Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?
Immediately many gathered together, so that there was no longer room to receive them, not even near the door. And He preached the word to them. Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men. And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.”
We are salt, but we are not the Holy Spirit. Let the Holy Spirit do the changing!
Whose life does God want to use YOU in?
Be the salt of the earth!
