MIND CONTROL Part 3: How To Encourage Yourself

November 15, 2020   /   Living Word Family Church

Matthew 22:36-39

“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

Our thoughts about ourselves will control our future and affect those we love.

Learning to love ourselves provides us with God-centered confidence.

1 Samuel 30:6

But David found strength in the Lord his God.

1 Samuel 30:8

And David inquired of the Lord, “Shall I pursue this raiding party? Will I overtake them?” “Pursue them,” he answered. “You will certainly overtake them and without fail recover all.”

Psalm 42:5

Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me?

Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, my Savior and my God.

Romans 8:31

If God is for us, who can be against us?

No weapon formed against me will prosper.

I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

I am blessed coming in and I am blessed going out.

My sins have been forgiven and I am redeemed.

I am a child of the Living God.

I am a joint heir with Jesus in His Kingdom.

I am an ambassador of the most High God.

I am sent by God to represent the love of Jesus on this earth.

I am free from the power of sin and death.

I have the mind of Christ.

I am filled with the very spirit that raised Jesus from the dead.

I am the workmanship of God created in Jesus to do good works.

My sins are completely forgiven.

I am a new creation in Christ.

My sinfulness has been separated as far from the east is from the west.

I am called by God to be a light in this dark world.

I am the salt of this earth.

I am more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus.

I am the head and not the tail.

I am seated in Heavenly places with my Savior Jesus.

My God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, of love and of sound mind.

I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.
