Δ Facebook (opens in new tab) Week of January 10, 2021 The political division in our country today is unlike anything we have experienced since our nation divided over the Civil War. Our U.S. Capitol was stormed on Wednesday with four people dying, one of them shot. Other state capitals nationwide this week have seen crowds gather, some carrying guns, which has led to the evacuation of some statehouses and lawmakers. What would you like to see happen and why? What did Jesus say about it in Matthew 22:15-21? How should we “Render to Caesar what is Caesar’s”? Romans 13:1-7 How should we “Render to God what is God’s”? Matthew 22:36-40; Philippians 2:3,4; 2 Corinthians 5:18-20 What are some of the ways you might use discussions on politics to share the love and hope in God?
