  1. Read Luke 5:1-11. What do you think were some of the reasons the crowd was pressing in on Jesus that day? What was it that caused you to first be attracted to the person of Christ?
  2. Why did Simon hesitate to go fishing again after Jesus finished teaching? Why do you think he chose to obey? What are some of the ways God has “tested” you with a suggestion, a conviction, an urging from His Spirit? Why have you been hesitant to follow through?
  3. Have you ever experienced “the kindness of God that leads to repentance”, Romans 2:4, that Peter expresses in vs.8? What were the circumstances and the result?
  4. What does it mean to you now when Jesus says, “Come and Follow”? If Jesus is moving and at work today, where is He calling you to follow Him?
