Fathers need to be reinstated to the level of importance that God intended for them!

Ezekiel 22:30 “And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.”

GENESIS 5:21-24

 21When Enoch had lived 65 years, he became the father of Methuselah. 22After he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked faithfully with God 300 years and had other sons and daughters. 23Altogether, Enoch lived a total of 365 years.24Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away. 25

1. WALKING WITH GOD MEANS TO GO IN

vs.22–Enoch walked w/God after he had Methuseleah. 

Micah 6:8 gives us a glimpse into God’s desire for us: “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”

2. WALKING WITH GOD MEANS TO

By faith Enoch…had pleased GodHebrews 11:5-6

Walking by faith and not by sight requires you to go to a place you do not know, 

(Genesis 12:1).The LORD had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.

3. WALKING WITH GOD MEANS TO SHARE  

Walkis the Biblical expression for fellowship and obedience to the Lord. 

Enoch lived…vs.21  Enoch walked…vs.24

God wants to walk with us before he works through us.

4. WALKING WITH GOD MEANS TO BEAR A

“See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones to judge everyone, and to convict all of them of all the ungodly acts they have committed in their ungodliness, and of all the defiant words ungodly sinners have spoken against him.” Jude 14-15 

5. WALKING WITH GOD MEANS TO ARRIVE AT

Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away. v24
