Ships in the Time of Covid: Troubled Waters

May 2, 2021

Today’s Primary Passages: Acts 27:39-28:10

WHERE are you experiencing TROUBLED WATERS these days?

PAUL’S JOURNEYMEN:

42 The soldiers wanted to kill the prisoners to make sure they didn’t swim ashore and escape. — Acts 27:42

“The people of the island were very kind to us.” — Acts 28:2

4 The people of the island saw it [the snake] hanging from his hand and said to each other, “A murderer, no doubt! Though he escaped the sea, justice will not permit him to live.” — Acts 28:4

“But when they had waited a long time and saw that he wasn’t harmed, they changed their minds and decided he was a god.” — Acts 28:6

23 “For last night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood beside me, 24 and he said, ‘Don’t be afraid, Paul, for you will surely stand trial before Caesar! What’s more, God in his goodness has granted safety to everyone sailing with you.’ 25 So take courage! For I believe God. It will be just as he said.” — Acts 27:23

“Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ” — Ephesians 1:4 (NLT)

Don’t let the troubled waters wash away the MESSAGE of you are.

Troubled waters may have you in an unexpected place, but God’s had a mighty word planned for you even you entered the storm.

What would happen if we approached our TROUBLES not ONLY as troubles, but as GOD ORDAINED OPPORTUNITIES?
