Doors of the Bible: The Cross

1 Peter 2:21-25 & Revelation 3:20
Sunday, April 10, 2022 — Pastor Mike Bailey

Introduction

“When God closes one door, he opens another.” We’ve all heard this phrase. Maybe some of us have even said it ourselves, but this phrase has no foundation in the Bible. In fact, sometimes God closes a door because He does not want you going anywhere! Throughout scripture, God uses doors to highlight several important lessons. A door can keep something out, keep something in, protect, or even draw a boundary line. Doors play a role in some of the most significant situations we read about in the Bible. How did God use these doors and what can we learn from them? Discover how God used the doors of the Bible in this new teaching series.
