Acts 20:24
-Just like a drift has a definite moment of beginning, so does the of that drift!
-We’re going to notice a checklist of 3 ways we need to face day to avoid a spiritual PAUSE mode.
–Context: Paul was absolutely to get to Jerusalem for a celebration called “Shavuot” (Pentecost).
-Why was Paul so determined to get to Jerusalem for Pentecost? (Rd. 17-24)
-This ministry of testifying of the gospel of the grace of God was the task God called him to do and now, going to dangerous Jerusalem was the in that task.
-Paul uses his travel plans to paint a picture for us of what a commitment to doing life God’s way looks like.
3 Helpful Ways to Face Each Day God’s Way (Acts 20:24):
1. — But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself
-Paul determined to let the Giver and Sustainer of his life decide the and outcome of his life.

2. — so that I might finish my course with joy
-Paul desired to joyfully complete the God had assigned to him.
-Just like diet, exercise, and rest are pivotal elements of athletic training, so must we on God’s Word, live out God’s Word, and rest in God’s strength.
3. — the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
-Paul recognized and embraced the privilege to others to Jesus Christ.
