December 19, 2021A Shepherd’s Look at Christmas
Luke 2:8-20

-“a deliverer / preserver” … indicates man had a need = to be delivered from something
– 1 Peter 1:18-19 “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But {you were redeemed] with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:”
-God in His incredibly merciful plan sent Jesus His Son to die a sinners death (being completely innocent of sin) so that you & would not have to if we receive His payment for ourselves!
