“The Faith of Noah!”
Lesson 3 of 13
Introduction: Noah was a man who was conscious of the sin that surrounded him. He lived in darkness, in the midst of the a people alienated from God. The Bible says the same thing of Noah that is says of Enoch – that Noah walked with God. He was a man who was a believer, and a man who found grace in the eyes of the Lord. He was moved to build the ark; Noah’s obedience to build the ark was an exercise of his faith in God.

Day 4: Read Hebrews 11:7. How was Noah’s faith connected to his obedience to God’s command?

Day 6: What truth is given in II Peter 3:9-10 which should stir our hearts to have faith in God just as Noah did.
- To show that our faith in God is demonstrated by our obedience to His Word.
- To understand that we are called upon each day to exercise faith in our Savior and to live for things we cannot behold with the human eye.
- To know that the judgment of God is certainly coming to this world and to tell others that the only place of safety is in the Lord Jesus Christ.
–Noah’s obedience to build the ark was an exercise of his faith in God.
