Introduction: In everything God has for His children to do, in order to bring glory to Him, God enables us through His divine anointing. As we serve Him, there should be a sweet fragrance about our lives, an evidence that we have been with the Lord Jesus. god desires His children to live in the overflow! Are you an overflowing Christian? The world around us needs to see overflowing Christians, those who have been blessed of God so they can be a blessing to others.

Psalm 23; Matthew 26:6-12; Exodus 29:21, 30:22-31; Psalm 45:7, 92:10; Isaiah 51:22; John 18:11, 7:37-38, 10:10, 15:11; Luke 15:17-24
Day 1: In Matthew 26:6-12 we read of a woman anointing the Lord Jesus. In verse ten, what testimony did Christ give concerning this anointing?
Day 2: According to Exodus 29:21, what two things were to be sprinkled on the priests? What do you think these tings represent for the believer?
Day 3: From Exodus 30:22-31, list the things that Moses was instructed to anoint with the holy anointing oil.
Day 4: Psalm 45:7 tells us that God has anointed His children with what kind of oil?
Day 5: Compare Isaiah 51:22 and John 18:11. What is this “cup” that Jesus Christ was willing to drink?
Day 6: In John 7:37-38, what picture does Christ give of the overflowing believer?
- To understand that every Christian needs God’s divine anointing.
- To realize that God desires for His children to live overflowing lives.
–We should go into heaven with the Lord’s holy anointing upon us.
I. THE OIL!
–We can only approach God on the merit of Jesus Christ.
— In everything God has for His children to do, in order to bring glory to our Lord, God enables us through His divine anointing.
II. THE OVERFLOW!
–Getting saved is only the beginning of all God has for us.
–Christ took the bitter cup so that we could take the blessed cup.
