The presence of anxiety is unavoidable, but the prison of anxiety is optional.
Philippians 4:4-7 4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:8-9 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
Meditation – to sit still long enough and focus on what is true.
We need to think about what we think about because not every thought is worth thinking about.
2 Cor 10:5 we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
What are my anxious thoughts that I need to empty?
What thoughts do I need to fill my mind with?
Psalm 23:1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
The God with me is bigger than anything I am facing in my life.
