To the Weary One

Isaiah 40:28-31                 (Gospel in Motion)                      May 9, 2021

I. There is only one who is exempt from becoming !

  • In this passage, we see two people mentioned:
    • Our Everlasting God
    • US

II. The Lord is the Sufficient for the One who is Weary!

  • God becomes the Weary One’s Sufficient Provider….with three different provisions:
    • Strength to mount up with wings like eagles!
    • Strength to run and not grow weary!
    • Strength to walk and to not faint!

III. Strength Awaits the Weary who upon the Lord!

  • How do we wait upon the Lord?
    • We recognize who HE IS!
    • We lift up our soul to Him!
    • We Follow Him!
