Finding Our Way in the Dark

Part 1

Habakkuk 1:1-17

1. Habakkuk questions, “How long God will darkness ” (vs. 2-4)

Habakkuk was seeing unchecked evil.  His cry was simple, why let me witness the burden of this evil and do nothing. 

2. God’s answer:  Habakkuk you are going to be ? (vs. 5-11)

Sometimes the answer from God is more difficult than God’s silence.

3. Habakkuk holding out hope. Are you not the ? (12-17)

Application:

1.  When you think God has not heard you, know He is near you. He cares for you! Never stop praying based on your feelings.
2. When you don’t know what to do, remember who you know. Worship who you trust. Trust the one you know.
3. When you can’t see God in your problems, you will discover Him in your praise.
