Seek First Priorities

The kingdom agenda is the visible demonstration of the comprehensive rule of God over every area of Life.

A lot of people in the world, even believers, feel as if their lives are in shambles. Our lives are full of pain and struggles and we are not sure why. Good news many of those problems result from displaced priorities.

The longest sermon in the Bible is the Sermon on the Mount. (Matthew 5 -7) The pivotal verse is Matthew 6:33

“Seek first HIS kingdom and HIS righteousness, and all things will be added to you.”

1. To live life to the fullest requires a commitment to Christ

• • When His agenda is first it sets our everyday activities.
  • When His agenda is first it sets our long-term goals and plans.

2. What is your true?

• • Disciple: Learner, someone who follows the teaching and behaviors of a particular teacher.
  • Our commission from Jesus himself:

Matthew 28:18-20

There should be steady transformation in our lives.

The goal remember is to reflect the image of Christ.

3. When we seek His priorities for our lives, we then find

• • You receive your calling from God only after you respond to the person of God.

John 6:28-29

• • Your divine calling is customized by God.

Philippians 2:12

• • God’s divine calling requires a personal commitment from you.

Galatians 2:20

How Do We Find God’s Calling?

• Search for God “SEEK”
• Commit to God’s will
