There is a path forward, and a life of spiritual growth is worth pursuing.
Growth is critical in the life of a believer because it provides for us a strong foundation.

2 Chronicles 29:5 And said unto them, Hear me, ye Levites, sanctify now yourselves, and sanctify the house of the Lord God of your fathers, and carry forth the filthiness out of the holy place.
If you want to live a growing life you have to be open to somebody speaking into your life that is spiritual.
Proverbs 15:22 Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established.
Proverbs 12:15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.
Proverbs 19:20 Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.

God designed us to be conduits rather than reservoirs. We are to take what He has blessed us with and seek to bless and encourage others in the church.

2 Chronicles 29:18-19 Then they went in to Hezekiah the king, and said, We have cleansed all the house of the Lord, and the altar of burnt offering, with all the vessels thereof, and the shewbread table, with all the vessels thereof. Moreover all the vessels, which king Ahaz in his reign did cast away in his transgression, have we prepared and sanctified, and, behold, they are before the altar of the Lord.

To claim the promises of God we must be willing to obey the commands of God.
