Let Us – Let us not grow weary

Let’s see what God can do

Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. 10 So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Matthew 5:13 “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet.

14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

One of the superpowers of the church – one of the superpowers of every Jesus follower – a superpower that we can call on any time that we choose – is the superpower of good.

Good is something we were created to do.

Good pierces the darkness.

Good pierces the deafness.

Good pierces the hardness.

Good pierces cynicism.

Good pierces skepticism.

Good pierces stereotypes.

Good pierces hate.

Good pierces despair.

Good is God’s global strategy.

When we do good we are opening doors – planting the seeds of Jesus – we are helping others – we are fulfilling the will of God – and we are pointing people to Jesus in this changes the world.

Let our people learn to devote themselves to good works, so as to help cases of urgent need, and not be unfruitful” Titus 3:14.

“Let those who suffer according to God’s will entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good” 1 Peter 4:19;

“See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone” 1 Thessalonians 5:15.

“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good” Romans 12:21.

Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you” Luke 6:27.

No nos cansemos

Veamos lo que Dios puede hacer

Gálatas 6:9 Y no nos cansemos de hacer el bien, porque a su debido tiempo cosecharemos, si no nos rendimos. 10 Así pues, cuando tengamos oportunidad, hagamos el bien a todos, y especialmente a los que son de la familia de la fe.

Mateo 5:13 “Vosotros sois la sal de la tierra, pero si la sal ha perdido su sabor, ¿cómo se restaurará su salinidad? Ya no sirve para nada, excepto para ser arrojado y pisoteado bajo los pies de las personas.

14 »Vosotros sois la luz del mundo. Una ciudad situada en una colina no se puede ocultar. 15 Tampoco la gente enciende una lámpara y la pone debajo de una canasta, sino en un soporte, y da luz a todos en la casa. 16 De la misma manera, alumbre vuestra luz delante de los demás, para que vean vuestras buenas obras y glorifiquen a vuestro Padre que está en los cielos.

Efesios 2:10 Porque somos hechura suya, creados en Cristo Jesús para buenas obras, las cuales Dios preparó de antemano, para que anduviéramos en ellas.

Uno de los superpoderes de la iglesia, uno de los superpoderes de cada seguidor de Jesús, un superpoder al que podemos recurrir en cualquier momento que elijamos, es el superpoder del bien.

El bien es algo para lo que fuimos creados.

El bien atraviesa la oscuridad.

El bien perfora la sordera.

Bueno perfora la dureza.

El buen pierces cinismo.

El buen pierces escepticismo.

El buen pierces estereotipos.

Los buenos pierces odian.

Las buenas perforaciones se desesperan.

El bien es la estrategia global de Dios.

Cuando hacemos el bien, estamos abriendo puertas, plantando las semillas de Jesús, estamos ayudando a otros, estamos cumpliendo la voluntad de Dios, y estamos señalando a las personas a Jesús en esto cambia el mundo.

Que nuestro pueblo aprenda a dedicarse a las buenas obras, para ayudar a los casos de necesidad urgente, y no ser infructuoso” Tito 3:14.

“Que los que sufren según la voluntad de Dios confíen sus almas a un Creador fiel mientras hacen el bien” 1 Pedro 4:19;

“Mirad que nadie pague mal a nadie por mal, sino procurad siempre hacer el bien unos a otros y a todos” 1 Tesalonicenses 5:15.

“No seáis vencidos por el mal, sino vence el mal con el bien” Romanos 12:21.

Amad a vuestros enemigos, haced el bien a los que os aborrecen” Lucas 6:27.
