- How would you describe the OT prophets? What were their roles in society and what types of messages did they deliver?
- Work together as a group to describe the prophet Zephaniah. Who was he? What was happening in the world during his ministry?
- How would you describe the Day of the Lord in your own words?

- Read Zephaniah 3:14-20. Which of the promises of the Lord in this passage resonate most with you? Why? Share a time that you experienced the promises of the Lord from this passage. How did it change that situation?
- We don’t know when, but we know the Day of the Lord is near (Zephaniah 1:7). How do you make sense of that in your life today? Does it impact your thoughts, actions, attitude, or ways?
