Hebrews 12:1-3
“Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith who, for the joy set before Him, endured the cross…for consider Him who endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart”
Hebrews 10:36
“For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise”
Matthew 13:20-21
“And these are the ones sown on rocky ground: the ones who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with joy. And they have no root in themselves, but endure for a while; then, when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately they fall away.”
What if God spent only as much time with you …. as you spent with Him?
2.
God won’t hold you accountable for what you have done as much as He will hold you accountable for what He’s asked you to do that you’ve done.
Isaiah 40:31
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
3.
James 1:2-4
“My friends, consider yourselves fortunate when all kinds of trials come your way, for you know that when your faith succeeds in facing such trials, the result is the ability to endure. Make sure that your endurance carries you all the way without failing, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
