Back to Basics – Prayer – #2 Intercession

1 Timothy 2:1 MSG 1  The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.

Ephesians 6:18 KJV 18  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

 1.  a relationship with God.

Revelation 3:20 KJV 20  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

2.  We need to be  for battle.

2 Corinthians 10:3-4 KJV 3  For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4  (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;

3.  Don’t  up!

Philippians 3:12 KJV 12  Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
