Bad News: The      Is Easy to Follow

Psalm 1:1 (NIV) — Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers . . .

Psalm 1:4 (NIV) — Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away.

Good News: Jesus Walks the Gentle Path    

Psalm 1:2 (NIV) — . . . but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night.

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV) — Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

Psalm 1:6 (NIV) — For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.

More Good News: Jesus Shares the Gentle Path  

Psalm 1:3 (NIV) — That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.

Colossians 2:6–7 (NIV) — So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
