                                              Kingdom Values:  Loyalty

                                                       Matt 26:33-35

 

1 This Covid-19 crisis has brought to many of our lives

 

             A lot of us are because of these changes

 

2  We need to stick to Jesus & His Kingdom values   

 

           Last week: 

           Today: 

 

                    :  to be faithful & devoted; a strong feeling of support or allegiance 

 

          Loyalty to and will carry us through all the crises of our day

 

3   Peter the loyalty test

 

                   “Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you.” Matt 26:35a (NIV)

 

4  True Loyalty is not

 

  Many will say they are loyal friends, but who can find one who is truly reliable? Proverbs 20:6 (NLT)
                     

                             Ways to be Disloyal:

 

                 To your

Guard yourself in your spirit, and do not break faith with the wife of your youth. Malachi 2:15 (NIV)

                 To your

   A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need. Proverbs 17:17 (NLT)

                 To Christ’s

 “God’s intent is that through the Church, the manifold wisdom of God is to be made known.”  Ephesians 3:10  

 

5   There is a battle for our

 

  Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world. 9  Let there be tears for what you have done. Let there be sorrow and deep grief.   James 4:8-9 (NLT)
                 

         Jesus’ Kingdom value of to God and one another will see us through
