2 Timothy 4:3-5 (The Message)
You’re going to find that there will be times when people will have no stomach for
solid teaching, but will fill up on spiritual junk food—catchy opinions that tickle
their fancy. They’ll turn their backs on truth and chase mirages. But you—keep
your eye on what you’re doing; accept the hard times along with the good; keep
the Message alive; do a thorough job as God’s servant.

How can we AFFECT the culture?
1) or hide from the culture around you.
2) You can the culture.
3) You can to the culture.
There’s a better way – don’t look around, look!

Matthew 20: 24 -28
24 When the ten heard about this, they were indignant with the two brothers.
25 Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles
lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. 26 Not so
with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your
servant, 27 and whoever wants to be first must be your slave 28 just as the Son
of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a
ransom for many.

John 18:36
Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to
prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders.

Use your for the benefit of those under your authority
