                                Pentecost People:  Revolutionary Generosity

                                                   Acts 4:29-35

God’s Pentecost people express revolutionary

  1. The power of the continued to be manifested in the early Church

 Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. Acts 4:29 (NIV) 

 Stretch out your hand to heal and perform miraculous signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” Acts 4:30 (NIV) 

 After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly. Acts 4:31 (NIV) 

  1. There was a wonderful spirit of in the early Church

All the believers were one in heart and mind. Acts 4:32a  (NIV) 

  1. That unity lead to revolutionary

No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had.”   4:32b 

  1. The apostles continued to boldly proclaim Jesus’

With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus…… Acts 4:33a      

  1. God’s was very evident

…..and much grace was upon them all.   Acts 4:33b

  1. As people had need, the body of Christ

    There were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales [35] and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone as he had need.”    Acts 4:34-35 (NIV)
