                                                          Marriage:  Agony or Ecstasy?

                                                                    Mark 10:6-8                                                                        

 

There has always been a high value placed on in the Christian community

  Sometimes I wish everyone were single like me—a simpler life in many ways! But celibacy is not for everyone any more than marriage is. God gives the gift of the single life to some, the gift of the married life to others. 1 Corinthians 7:7 (MSG)

Principles for a fulfilling marriage:

    “..At the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’ [7] ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, [8] and the two will become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two, but one.     Mark 10:6-8 (NIV) 

    Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs…”   Ephes. 4:29 (NIV) 

    And the Lord God said, “It isn’t good for man to be alone; I will make a companion for him, a helper suited to his needs.” Genesis 2:18 (Living) 

  Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.       Ephes. 4:32  (NIV)

               Whether single or married, these relationship principles our lives
