Hebrews: An Anchor for Our Souls

Hebrews 13:17-25

 

Hebrews is a call to Christian maturity, to making Jesus the beginning and the end of our faith and the center of our life. It was addressed to first-century Jewish Christians, but it applies to us today.  We’re not to trust in ourselves but in the complete sufficiency of Christ. As he finishes the letter, the author gives some final words of instruction for the community and then a genuine word of prayer and a gospel-centered word of encouragement.
