Group/Community Discussion Points:

*Open by reading 2 Chronicles 20:15-17

  1. What does it mean that God fights for us? Why do we need Him to fight for us? Why is it so hard to let Him do so?
  2. Why do we want to be a sort of spiritual “William Wallace?”
  3. If God fights for us, what exactly is our role? How does that differ from being idle or just sitting by and “waiting for God” while doing nothing?
  4. What are some ways that we can position ourselves to see the Lord’s deliverance? How is your prayer life? How is your personal worship? Would you describe yourself as humble? Why or why not?
  5. How does standing firm (being still) increase our knowledge of God? How does it cause the enemy to flee?
  6. What’s one thing you need to put into practice this week because of this message?

* Close by thanking God for the victory that He will provide and by taking some time to think about how well you are positioned to see that victory.
