“Hope For Young Ministers”

  1. Set an example (4:12).

 

  • People will no longer despise your youth when they are respecting your example.

 

  • Who we are matters! It puts a question mark, period, or exclamation point behind what we teach.

 

  1. Read, Teach, and Apply the Scripture (4:13).

 

  • Read the Scripture, exhort from the Scripture, and teach sound doctrine from the Scripture.

 

  1. Develop your gifts (4:14).

 

  1. Cultivate your life and doctrine (4:15).

  1. Pay close attention to your life and doctrine (4:16).
