Anxiety Antidote #1: Prioritize and Practice !

 

 

Philippians 4:4 (NIV)

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

 

 

Habakkuk 3:17-18 (NIV)
Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, 18 yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior.

Anxiety Antidote #3: Upgrade Our !

 

 

Philippians 4:8 (NLT)

Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

 

 

An Upgraded Thinking Checklist:

Is what I’m thinking true? (Check it out … test everything!)

Is what I’m thinking honorable? (Is it value-adding or value-diminishing?)

Is what I’m thinking right? (Just and fair?)

Is my thinking pure? (Pure means both morally clean and it fits who I am and the

purposes God has for my life?)

Are my thoughts lovely? (Does it encourage loving attitudes and actions?)

Is my thinking excellent and praiseworthy? (Is it consistent with who I most long to be?)
