1. that inspire me to set Goals

Dear brothers, pattern your lives after mine, and notice who else lives up to my example.” Philippians 3:17 (TLB)

“I have given you an example to follow: do as I have done to you.” John 13:15 (TLB)

2. that help me make my Goals.

“Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.”  Proverbs 15:22 (TLB)

“Though good advice lies deep within the heart, a person with understanding will draw it out.” Proverbs 20:5(TLB)

Ways to draw OUT….

  1. Asking questions… Accepting feedback.
  1. Learning how to make your goals
    Identify the problem.
    Name the possibilities.
    Describe the payoff.
    Define the pit falls.
    Design the plan.
    Develop Character
  1. Answer the questions:
    What will it cost me?
What am I willing to give for it?
    Is it worth it?

3. that help fulfill your Goals.

“Two people are better than one because together they have a good reward for their hard work.  If one falls, the other can help his friend get up. But how tragic it is for the one who is all alone when he falls. There is no one to help him get up…Though one person may be overpowered by another, two people can resist one opponent. A triple-braided rope is not easily broken.” Ecclesiastes 4: 9-10, 12 (GW)

Bring out the BEST in others…

Believe in them
Encourage them
Support them
Trust them

“Now we rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God—all because of what our Lord Jesus Christ has done in dying for our sins—making us friends of God.” Romans 5:11 (TLB)
