Romans 1:1

  • Servant – Dulos – a
  • Called -Klatos – to be welcomed or
  • Set apart – Apharitzo – to separate – A Horizon

Romans 1:2

  • 1 Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God—3 regarding his Son, 
  • “The whole Gospel is contained in Christ.”  John Calvin

 Romans 1:3

  • Jesus is fully

Romans 1:4 

  • Jesus is fully

Romans 1:5

  • The Gospel is for people

  • Called – invited to to Jesus

  1. We’re by God
  2. We’re to be His holy people
  3. We’re called to to Jesus (vs 6)

Romans 1:7

  • Grace – common greeting;  Peace – common greeting

Romans 1:8

  • “My God…” He’s a God.
