When Do We See God Most in Times of Conflict?

2 Corinthians 2:1 (NIV) — So I made up my mind that I would not make another painful visit to you.

2 Corinthians 2:4 (NIV) — For I wrote you out of great distress and anguish of heart and with many tears, not to grieve you but to let you know the depth of my love for you.

2 Corinthians 2:7-8 (NIV) — Now instead, you ought to forgive and comfort him, so that he will not be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow. I urge you, therefore, to reaffirm your love for him.

2 Corinthians 2:11 (NIV) — . . . in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.

Psalms 130:3-4 (NIV) — If you, LORD, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.
