What a change has occurred since the beginning of John 6, where we see a great crowd walking toward Jesus – now they are walking away. Jesus was surrounded by a huge multitude and not long after He has only His 12 disciples, and He knows one of them is a betrayer! This lengthy chapter closes with the difference between real and fake. It is sometimes difficult to tell the difference between the genuine article and a cheap imitation. I.
