Reply All: Why 21 Days Of Prayer?

August 15, 2021

Daniel 10:3 NIV

“I ate no choice food; no meat or wine touched my lips; and I used no lotions at all until the three weeks were over.”

James 5:16b

“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”

Powerful prayers are:

  • : Gather with other believers and seek God’s face together in prayer.
  • : Speak God’s promises over your life. Prayer is prophecy to your future!
  • : Approach God with faith-filled prayers and expect Him to move in mighty ways.

“God honors bold prayers because bold prayers honor God.”  Mark Batterson

Our January 21 Days of Prayer are similar to a tithe in that we are bringing the first part the year to God believing that when we do, He will bless the rest.

Our late summer 21 Days of Prayer are focused on the  season of September through December.

CrossRoads Prayer Focuses:

1 Corinthians 13:13 NIV

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

: Ask God to solidify our faith in Him and His Word so that the shaken may find faith through us.

: Ask God to renew our hope in His goodness so that the hopeless may experience hope through Him.

Hebrews 6:19a NIV

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.

: Ask God to fill us with His love so that it’s the love of Jesus people experience when they are with us.

How to pray for those who need God:

Open their ears to hear Your voice.”

  •  the spirit that blinds their minds.

2 Corinthians 4:4 NIV

PRAYER: “Father, bind the evil spirits that are blinding the minds of the people around me. In the name of Jesus, I pray that they would be able to see clearly, to recognize who You are, and to give their hearts to You. Remove all hindrances the enemy would use to distract them from Your truth. Open their eyes, Lord, that they might see Jesus.”

PRAYER: “Father, I pray that people will understand how much You love them. Loose the Spirit of Adoption for the people around me, so that they come into a meaningful relationship with You. Allow others to see my genuine love and concern for them in all that I say and do. Let me be Your hands and feet to serve them and let them know just how much You love them.”

Ephesians 1:17 NIV

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation, so that you may know Him better.

PRAYER: “Father, I pray for the people around me to experience the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation. I pray that they would truly understand their spiritual condition and see what Jesus did for them on the cross. Help them to have the information and experiences needed to come to You, so they can understand all You have for them.”
