You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate mebut showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments. (Exodus 20:5-6)

Who has believed what he has heard from us? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? For he grew up before him like a young plant, and like a root out of dry ground; he had no form or majesty that we should look at him, and no beauty that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed. (Isaiah 53:1-5)

16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

What do you do when you see signs of curses in your life?

            1. Proclaim (Confess) your new identity in Christ Jesus.

Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he has redeemed from trouble (Psalm 107:2)

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy (Psalm 107:2)

            1. Defend your position with the blood of Jesus

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. (Colossians 1:13-14)

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace (Ephesians 1:7)

            1. Reject every curse and claim the blessing

Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. (Galatians 3:13-14)

            1. Plant the Word by prayer & proclamation

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. (2 Corinthians 8:9)

Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears; Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’ ” (Joel 3:10)

“No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their vindication is from Me,” declares the Lord.” (Isaiah 54:17)

“In all these things, we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” (Romans 8:37)

“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 15:57

“Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts.” (Zechariah. 4:6)

“Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.” (Luke 10:19)

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10)

“Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.” (Matthew 18:18-19)

“And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.” (Revelation 12:11)

“…the reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.” (1 John 3:8)

“But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31)

            Prayer of blessing activation

Lord Jesus Christ, I believe that you are the son of God, and the only way to God. I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead. I renounce all my personal and inherited sin. Merciful God, I turn to you in Jesus’ name for mercy and forgiveness.

I confess every known sin committed by me, those related to me, and my ancestors [specify known sins…]. I forgive everyone that has ever hurt me in any way. In particular, I forgive [mention names…].

Furthermore Lord, I renounce every contact with Satan, occult power in any form, or any kind of secret society. I commit myself to remove from my house any form of occult object that honors Satan and dishonors Christ. With your help Lord, I will remove them all.

I receive your forgiveness by faith and commit to live for you from now on. Help me hear your voice and obey you.  In accordance to your word, uproot from my life every plant that God the Father has not planted. Free me from any curse over my life, and activate your blessing in my life.

Now Lord Jesus, I thank you further that on the cross, you were made a curse, that I might receive the blessing. Based on the blood of Jesus, shed for me on the cross, I declare myself released from every curse and every evil influence, and every dark shadow over me or my family from any source whatsoever. I release myself now in the name of Jesus. I overcome by the blood of Jesus and by my testimony. AMEN.
